Windsor is a southern Canadian city located in Ontario and south of the Detroit River, which separates it from Detroit Michigan. Windsor was first settled by the French in 1749 and later was incorporated as a city in 1892. Windsor is known to be an industrial center; the city's economy is dependent on manufacturing and booming tourism. The city's low crime, great economy and rich culture has put the city on many prominent lists; it was recently listed as the second largest North American city for economy potential.
