Home to Purdue University, West Lafayette is a small town resting on the Wabash River just across from its sister city of Lafayette. Due to the University, the town houses over 40,000 students that heavily impact the economy, as well as the Purdue Research Park which features nearly 200 companies, the majority of which work in technology and scientific fields. Beyond the university, West Lafayette hosts Samara, a Usonian home designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
