Constructed between 1675-1710, this breathtaking English Baroque structure designed by Sir Christopher Wren is the cathedral of the Diocese of London and the seat of the city's bishop. The current St. Paul's Cathedral building is the fourth to have stood in the location with the first erected in 604. Many historic British events took place in this cathedral including the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana Spencer; funerals for Duke of Wellington Lord Nelson and prime ministers Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher; and jubilees for Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II.
