This historic destination is often called "America's Hometown" because it's where the Mayflower pilgrims settled in 1620 and the site of the first Thanksgiving. The celebrated Plymouth Rock engraved with the year 1620 is said to mark the site of the pilgrims' landing and is located in a Neo-classical Revival monument in Plymouth's Pilgrim Memorial State Park.
