This tourist resort city located five miles from the Smoky Mountains National Park contains the attractions of Dollywood, Dollywood's Splash Country and Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede. Pigeon Forge was settled in the 1780s and received its name from an iron forge built by Isaac Love.
