This once unfashionable area was built up and rejuvenated prior to the 1992 Summer Olympics and is now one of Barcelona’s more fashionable and lively locales. Olympic Port, which forms part of Olympic Village’s seafront, is a 740-berth marina flanked by two of Barcelona’s most popular beaches, including Barceloneta beach. The area is also home to a plethora of seaside bars, nightclubs and restaurants.
