About Olten

This small town sits at the south end of Jura, only a 30 minute train ride from Zurich. The practically untouched region around Olten makes it an ideal base for nature excursions like hiking and bike tours. Climb Jacob’s Ladder for panoramic views, and walk across the covered, wooden Alte Holzbruecke bridge that has been around for hundreds of years. The Cistercian Abbey of St. Urban on the way to Langenthal showcases beautiful architecture as well.
