This beautiful seven-mile plus section of the Island of Oahu is best known for its large waves that attract surfers and surf contents from all around the world on its beaches such as Waimea Bay, Sunset and the Banzai Pipeline. The North Shore's Haleiwa Town has plenty of shopping, restaurants and galleries and the well-known Rainbow Bridge marks its entrance. It is a popular spot for filming movies and television shows such as "Lost," "North Shore," "Baywatch," "Hawaii Five-0," "Blue Crush" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."
