The 18.1-square-mile California city incorporated in 1872 is in the famous wine producing Napa Valley and features more than 20 wine bars and tasting rooms. Napa, which is where Napa leather originated, contains many historic Victorian structures, fine dining restaurants and cultural institutions. City highlights include the County Courthouse, Holden Mansion, Napa Valley Opera House, Napa Firefighters Museum, Noyes Mansion, Sawyer Tannery, First Presbyterian Church and Lisbon Winery. The original workshop where Peter Jensen and Edwin Pridham invented the loudspeaker in 1915 is preserved.
