The city of Kelowna is located on Okanagan Lake in the British Columbia, Canada. The city was settled by the European settler Father Charles M. Pandosy in 1859, and was incorporated as a city in 1905. Many come to visit Kelowna, particularly because the city is located in the Lake Okanagan, which is believed to be the home of the mythical lake monster Ogopogo.
