Permanent exhibits include African Wildlife, The Americas, Ancient Egypt, Chemistry, Earth Forum, Gems & Minerals, Gem Vault, Energy Hall, Malacology and Texas Wildlife. It has a second facility in Sugarland, Tex. and George Observatory is located off-site at Brazos Bend State Park.
