The New Hampshire town is the location of the famous tourist attraction of Hampton Beach, which is situated on the Atlantic Ocean. Hampton was settled in 1638 and named after Hampton, England. In addition to Hampton Beach, other points of interest are Tuck Museum, James House, Seacoast Fire Museum, The Casino Water Slide and Hampton Airfield.
