Located in the Canadian Rockies, this town is situated at the confluence of the Kicking Horse and Columbia rivers. Golden was established in 1957 and is located close to many of Canada's national park including Banff, Jasper and Yoho. It is home to the country's longest freestanding timber frame bridge with the Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge. Notable sites are Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre, Golden Museum, Grizzly Bear Refuge and the nearby Edelweiss Village.
