The "Blue Gate" of Fez is one of the main gates of the city through which most visitors pass. The Gate of Bab Bou Jelou leads to the Fez Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the old city. The gate is adorned with blue mosaics and is one of the most photographed structures in this ancient city, although it is relatively young at only 200 years old.
