This charming and typically English region spans the rolling hills of England’s countryside and contains many villages, including Bath. In the 13th through the 15th century, Cotswolds produced high-quality wool and attracted wealthy traders who built nice homes and churches throughout the area. The entire region was built with honey-colored limestone, giving it a distinct architecture. Today, visitors can follow the Romantic Road to tour the towns’ famous shops and historic churches.
