Located in La Boca, Caminito Street is a picturesque walkway of Buenos Aires with colorful buildings and architecture. A street museum and traditional alley, the street developed during the height of immigration to Buenos Aires between the 19th and 20th century, becoming a well known home for Italian immigrants. Because many worked at the nearby ports, the Caminito residents used the left over paints from their work to redesign their homes with colorful exteriors.
