Resting on the east side of the island of Bisevo, the famous Blue Cave was carved over the ages as waves eroded the limestone walls. Originally one could only enter the cave by diving under it but it was expanded in the 19th century with dynamite, creating a small hole in its side. The perfect time to visit is between the hours of 11 am and 12 pm, sunlight reflects off the calm waters onto the walls, bathing the cave in an aquamarine shade.
