Located on the southern shoreline of the Juan de Fuca Strait, Beacon Hill Park has 200 acres features various amenities attracting tourists and locals alike, as well as a 127-foot tall totem pole built by the indigenous people of the Kwakwaka'wakw tribe. The park was established in 1882 consists of Beacon Hill Children's Farm, Goodacre Lake, Fountain Lake, playgrounds and fields.
