Upon arrival at Chennai airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, you will begin your tour of Chennai by visiting Fort St. George, St. Mary Church, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Vadapalani Murugan Temple, Government Museum, Dakshinachitra Museum, Santhome Cathedral, and Marina Beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will drive to Vellore, en route visiting Kanchipuram, known as the city of thousands of temples. Upon arrival in Vellore, you will check in at your hotel and proceed to visit the Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple, which is gilded with 1500kg of pure gold. You will also visit Vellore Fort and the Jalakandeswarar Temple inside the fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will drive to Trichy, en route visiting Tiruvannamalai, a Hindu pilgrimage town at the foot of the sacred Arunachala Hill. You will visit the ancient Arulmigu Arunachaleswarar Temple. Upon arrival in Trichy, you will check in at your hotel and attend the Arti ceremony at the temple in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will visit the Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Rock Fort Temple, and Jambukeshwara temple. Then, you will drive to Madurai, check in at your hotel, and visit Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Palace, Alagar Koil, Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple, and Palamuthirsolai Murugan Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples with the world's longest corridor and immaculate carvings on pillars. You will also visit Adams Bridge, the chain of reefs, sandbanks, and islets that almost connects Sri Lanka with India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

After breakfast, you will drive to Thanjavur. En route, you will visit a few 19th-century mansions whose wide courtyards and spacious rooms are embellished with marble and teak. Upon arrival in Thanjavur, you will check in at your hotel and visit the Brihadeshwara Temple and Palace Complex built by the great Chola king in the 10th century. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, you will drive to Pondicherry, en route visiting The Great Living Chola Temples at Darasuram and Gangaikonda Cholapuram, and the Nataraja Temple at Chidambaram. Upon arrival in Pondicherry, you will check in at your hotel. In the evening, you can explore the French Quarters, which include the French consulate, Raj Nivas, Government Square, Churches, and French schools. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

After breakfast, you will visit Auroville, an experimental township known for its unique architecture and community living. Next, visit the Pondicherry Museum to learn about the history and culture of the region. Afterward, drive through the stunning French Quarters, which include French consulate, Raj Nivas, Government Square, Churches & French schools. Later, depart for Chennai with an enroute stop at Mahabalipuram to visit the Monolithic Temples, Five Rathas, Krishna Butterball, Cave Temples, Shore Temple & The Arjuna Penance. On arrival in Chennai, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
