60% Tour guide in the Blue Line (Lex) was horrible

Our tour guide in the Blue Line tour (Lex) was so horrible. He slurs whenever he talks about something and sometimes, he talks about something that is totally unrelated to the tour. He talks about what he likes about the area and all, which.. is not something we tourists want to hear. He was also not good in providing directions and help for us to be able to maximize our stay in a specific city. Most of the time, he just leaves us right in front of a square with nothing to do. He talks about the places for us to see WHILE we were on the bus, so it was very hard for us to get a picture of how far away the nearest tourist spot is. We basically have to figure it out for ourselves. There was also one time when he looked like he was having a very bad hangover and he was not able to get us more details of what we can do in Salzburg. This tour guide is very very impolite as well; he won't answer questions from the tourists and when he does, he was very sarcastic! I hated this tour guide.Read full review
This tour was very interesting because the it covers many countries. I was totally amazed seeing Prague and Budapest which were full of diverse architecture and beautiful landscape and scenery. I also oved each City in the countries visited... I recommend this tour for a comprehensive experience of most of Europe.Read full review
The price of the tour was extremely reasonable. That being said, the only major concern I had with the tour was that although the hotels were nicer than expected, they were almost always about 30 minutes away from the city in a deserted are..a. This was difficult because the bus usually drops you off around 7pm and therefore I struggled with finding a place to have dinner and to be able to enjoy the night life. The tour managers are truly just managers. Don't expect them to give details about the cities and monuments you are going to see; they simply walk you to the locations. I think that if they want to improve their service these managers can become more well versed in the history of some of the things so they can explain things. I also feel that one of the tour leaders would focus on giving his opinion about the Catholic Church and so on, that it was totally unnecessary. They don't speak really good English but you can understand for the most part. Other than that, I would say that it was totally worth it for the price I paid. Everything was beautiful. I felt that we had enough free time in each of the cities and were able to see everything that was described in the itinerary. The coach bus was comfortable and we had adequate air conditioner and movies were played during long rides and stops are made every two hours for bathroom breaks. Make sure to take into consideration the tip for the tour manager and city taxes plus other excursions you may want to take, we took most optional activities except the lunches and they were worth it. I would definitely take another tour due to the reasonable price.Read full review
This is a great tour to visit so many countries in a short time. European countries are next to each other so we don't have to seat in the bus for a long time to get to next country. Tour guys are great and very helpful.
