My family and I have been on many tours but, unanimously, this was by far the best one. The tour guide, Roger, made the experience an unforgettable one. He was highly informational; literally a walking textbook. His humor was hilarious, ..even after a long day of trekking. He pointed out unique vantage points for pictures and voluntarily took pictures of tour members (He is a great photographer!). He cared for his tour group very much and did everything to make them happy. The driver Mauricio was very nice and a highly skilled professional. He navigated the bumpy of the West effectively and efficiently. In our upcoming national park trips (i.e. Yosemite, Zion), we hope to have both Roger and Mauricio again!!Read full review
Traveled with my 81 year old mother and progeny aged 13,17 & 19. EVERYONE was thrilled with the trip. Our driver KEVIN was superb. Our guide MARK was a walking encylcopedia AND 100% on point with every transition and move. Even the movie..s they selected were perfect. Here are my only very minor suggestions.. 1) Please let us know in advance where there will be laundry facilities as I wasted a whole night in Deadwood doing laundry by hand to only find a lovely laundry facility at our next stop!! 2) LOT'S MORE time at Crazy Horse & West Coast Museum. I know everyone wants to see Mt Rushmore, but in my opinion ALL of the other stops eclipsed Mt Rushmore by FAR! 3) I would have liked to go inside of the Mormon Geneology Library. I thought I might pick up some Chinese language, But also no luck. The best part of the trip is that I did not have to drive and the views from the bus were fantastic for my mother who did not always want to get out of the bus. Pack super light and do not miss getting in the world famous Glenwood Hot Springs. We even stopped for lunch in Vail, CO. They knew all the healthy cheap eating spots which we would have never found on our own. They knew where to find the buffalo alongside the road. We had a BALL! We got up much earlier than we would have on our own and consequently covered much more ground. When we think about the cost of gas and hotels plus the cost fumbling along the route, the entire trip is an undisputed BARGAIN. The buses were clean as were the hotels. Even the rustic ones. Mark was an excellent shepherd to our crew. Read full review

I took this tour August 13th-19th and the weather was beautiful, perfect time of year. Every stop we made was well thought out and the route was nothing less of perfect. Each day consisted of so many sightseeing opportunities. This tour was.. worth every penny. Great deal. No way I could have seen or done all of this on my own in 7 days. The cities, towns, museums, etc. chosen complete the tour and I wouldn't have choose anything different. I would possibly add a stop in Salt Lake City to see where the Olympics were held or at least drive past it. Our tour guide Rodger was very knowledgeable, informative, kept everyone on time. He was great. The bus driver was wonderful and the bus was basically brand new. The hotels ranged from okay to really nice but you also had to think of the small towns we stayed in and the options they offered. I was worried about the bilingual part of the tour and possibly being the only Americans on board. We felt welcomed and made a few friends from around the world. I will definitely be planning another tour soon.Read full review

Bad things: 1. I did not know it was a chinese tour, so when I arrived at the airport the guide was not at the place it was supposed to be and he was with a chinese flag, so there was no way I would imagine that was my tour; 2. The last day.. I thought we would stop at the rocky mountains but we did not; 3. The glenwood spring was a waste of time, the time we stay there could be shortened so we could enjoy other places. 4. I wish the bus had more space for the legs
Good things: 1. I got to see wonderful places; 2. The tour guide was worried about the travelers and the driver was really good too; 3. accommodations were very good; 4. we were never late (only for the first day at the airport)
Basicaly, the trip was very good, except for little things that happened. I highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I had a great time on this tour. Larry is a great tour guide and Kevin our driver got us around safely and quickly. Would recommend this tour to anyone.
We took the June18-24 Mt.Rushmore/Yellowstone Package....for tje most part it was excellent. One hotel the (Franklin Hotel) had a gorgeous entryway but the rooms need to be updated like the front and entryway. Larry and our driver did an ..excellent job. There are always going to be some on a tour bus that are rude and don't know how to wait their turn. We thoroughly appreciate Larry's efforts to help us see even more than was in the tour brochure. Yellowstone was our favorite then Mt. Rushmore/Crazy Horse and the Tetons were beautiful. You could leave out the downtown tour of Denver and skip the Temple Square tour and Great Salt Lake and shift more time in Yellowstone and more time in Jackson Hole. Arches was very different too! Would also have like a more scenic stop in Vail and the Rockies heading back to the Denver airport. But for the most part an excellent vacation - first time we've done the bus tour thing. Thank you Larry for getting the king size bed for us also! One last suggestion, all of the tour companies need to communicate with Larry better - he had no idea where we were in the Denver Airport and we were where our e-mail told us to be along with 4 other people. So tour companies communicate with Larry better so people aren't waiting needlessly in the airport. Thank goodness for cell phones! Read full review
We have seen a lot of interesting sites in those 7 days (May 14 to 20, 2011). Our guide Allen was very informative and helpful. Price is excellent for the quality. The only issue was with the bus. It broke 3 times during that trip and d..ue to those problems, we arrived late at our hotel (9:30 p.m.@@plush;). I would suggest that maintenance is done more often on those buses.Read full review

Packed itinerary everyday! We saw a lot of sites & learned a lot! Bus was very clean and comfortable, we watched movies/videos on the long drives. Hotels were clean/comfortable and lots of great, fun places to eat. We stopped at local g..rocery stores for snacks & drinks to bring along. Overall, a GREAT trip!Read full review

This is basically my 2nd tour with Tour4Fun. If you are on a budget, wanna visit lots of places in a short period of time and don't mind a bit of exercise (walking), this tour is for you. We managed to cover 8 or 9 states in 7 days which is.. pretty impressive plus Yellowstone was one of my childhood dream.
And with the affordable pricing and compact schedule, Tour4Fun made my dream come true... a big thank you. And my tour guide spoke 3 languages.... English is one of them. So to all the english speaking friends... you are covered.Read full review
Our 7 day tour from Denver to Yellowstone was excellent. Our tour guide Larry was informative and patient with our tour group. Our driver Mauricio made sure we arrived safe wherever we went for the day and on time. Both were very courteo..us and went beyond the scope of customer service.
The trip was awesome for the price! We will definately go again on another tour with this company! There's no way we could have seen 6 states and all their beauty driving our own vehicle.Read full review
Great tour! A lot of places visited in 7 days. Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Arches are amazing!
The tour was very well organized with a good ratio between visit and free time. The guide (Larry) was excellent.
Our Tour Guide and Driver were EXCELLENT. However, i do have a few comments about the tour itself. I should be more clear about what tours are "optional" and which are not. Having to be told that additional fees are required once to tour.. begins is annoying to say the least. The reason for the "Fair" rating on the hotels is that the last 2 hotels on our tour were unclean to say the least. There were stains on EVERY surface along with bugs and smells.Read full review

This was a great tour - very full on at times, but as someone who has a really bad back, I only missed a few things in Yellowstone, and for all the other highlights the bus was able to drop us off right where we needed to be.
My only disap..pointment was that we did not stay in Deadwood, but in Lead. Having said that the accommodation in Lead was excellent. The bus driver and tour guide were both great and everyone had a great time.

This was my second tour with tours4fun. This time I traveled with my 19 and 21 year old children... AND WE LOVED IT! The beauty of the national parks and monuments, cities, and the prairies, mountains, and deserts were just breathtaking. Ou..r knowledgeable, humorous tour guide Harry and bus driver Scott, only added to this wonderful experience. Thank you Harry, Scott, and all my new friends from the bus for this unforgettable experience.
