Huerquehue is characterized by its network of trails that have made it one of the favorite parks for nature and trekking lovers. It has countless trailsand has an environment mostly located in the Andean-Patagonian Forest Region and within the Araucanía Mountain Range. The largest volume watercourses in the park are: the Renahue Blanco River, Quinchol. In addition, there are several minor slopes, of permanent cause. In Huerquehue, some vestiges have been found, such as ceramic remains, rocky eaves for protection, which indicates that there was sometimes some degree of human occupation there.
