Guided Tour with Boat Cruise From Toronto to Niagara Falls
Our Niagara Falls Day Tour begins at our centralized location. (55 York St at 8:30 am - boarding starts at 8:00 am)
Travel through the Golden Horseshoe region to the Niagara Peninsula and arrive at The Falls. Along our journey, your guide will inform and entertain you with the rich history and amazing facts of the surrounding region as well as Niagara Falls. Enjoy the various views of Lake Ontario, the Niagara Escarpment, and the Welland Canal.
From here our tour guide will drive along the famed parkway to capture the first close-up views of The Falls. (You will then either start your boat cruise, helicopter ride, or other tours (add-ons available at the time of booking) or spend some time exploring The Falls.)
* Niagara Cruise operates from May to October. When this is not operational, we will offer the Journey Behind the Falls
In the afternoon we will depart Niagara Falls for a scenic drive along the Niagara Parkway where you will have views of Queenston Heights, Floral Clock, Power Generating Station, Whirlpool Rapids, Laura Secord Homestead, McFarland house and Fort George.
The Parkway leads us to Niagara-on-the-Lake, a beautiful, quaint and historic town with a wealth of attractions for everyone. Stroll through the streets and visit the unique culinary and fashion boutiques or take a horse-drawn carriage through the town. This picturesque route offers travelers an enchanting experience filled with stunning vistas, charming towns, and abundant natural wonders. Here's what you can expect to see and experience on the Niagara Parkway:
Botanical Gardens: As you approach Niagara Falls, make sure to visit the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens. This serene and colorful oasis is home to various plants, flowers, and sculptures, making it a perfect place to take a leisurely stroll and capture beautiful photographs.
Whirlpool Rapids: Witness the powerful natural phenomenon of the Whirlpool Rapids, where the Niagara River narrows and creates a turbulent, swirling whirlpool. The sight is both mesmerizing and awe-inspiring.
Queenston Heights Park: Nestled atop the Niagara Escarpment, this park offers stunning views of the river and the surrounding region. It's a perfect spot for a picnic or a relaxing moment to take in the beauty of the landscape.
Historic Sites: Along the parkway, you'll encounter several historical landmarks and sites. Keep an eye out for the Brock's Monument, a tribute to Major General Sir Isaac Brock, a hero of the War of 1812, and the Laura Secord Homestead, a place associated with a famous Canadian heroine.
Lush Vineyards: As you leave Niagara-on-the-Lake, the parkway meanders through the heart of Niagara's wine country. Gaze upon rolling vineyards that produce some of Canada's finest wines. If time permits, consider stopping at one of the wineries for a tasting session and perhaps take home a bottle of your favorite vintage.
Niagara-on-the-Lake: Visit the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, you will be greeted by well-preserved 19th-century architecture, lush gardens, and tree-lined streets. Explore boutique shops, enjoy local cuisine at quaint restaurants, and immerse yourself in the town's rich history.
