ItinerarySphere is a massive spherical theater connected to The Venetian hotel. Standing 366 feet tall and 516 feet wide, it features 168,000 speakers and a wraparound LED screen designed to provide an immersive entertainment experience through visual, auditory, tactile, and gustatory elements. Inside, there are 17,500 seats and a central stage, accommodating up to 21,500 people for live events.
The Sphere experience is a two-part, multi-sensory adventure that lasts about two hours. From the moment you step through our doors, your journey begins. You'll be greeted by Aura, one of five humanoid robots in our atrium that you can interact with. Aura will explain how technology has historically maximized human potential. You'll witness holograms, avatar captures, beamforming sound displays, and the world's largest Hypervsn display projecting 50-foot tall holographic images.
Next, you'll immerse yourself in a film directed by the acclaimed Darren Aronofsky (known for "Pi," "Black Swan," "The Whale"). "Postcards from Earth" is a blend of sci-fi and nature documentary that takes you on a journey from Antarctica to the ocean depths, across 15 different global locations, and into deep space. You'll see the world like never before. This is the first film project commissioned specifically for Sphere, utilizing all our experiential technology—from the world's largest high-definition screen, to tactile seats that let you feel the movie, and 167,000 speakers that surround you with sound.
