Busan Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is located on the east coast of the Cauldron and is the only temple in South Korea located by the sea. The surrounding scenery is very beautiful. The temple is situated near the mountains and the sea, with the most unique scenery being the 108 steps and Sunrise Rock. From the entrance of Haedong Yonggungsa, one must descend 108 steps to reach the temple, and Sunrise Rock is in the middle of the 108 steps. Standing on the rocks, one can hear waves hitting the rock walls and appreciate the magnificent scenery.

Mysterious Road (Dokkaebi Road) There’s a hundred-meter section on 1100 Road where things roll upward. This road became known to the world in 1981 when a couple on honeymoon got out of their car for photo taking while placing their car gears in neutral and witnessed it rolling upward. This road has 3-degree downward slant, but the surrounding terrain makes it look like an upward slant.
Daepo Haean Jusangjeolli Cliff* is a cliff formed by volcanic eruption at the end of a pine forest along the farm road from Dapu Cave to the southwest. When the huge waves hit the edge of the cliff, you can see the rolling waves around the pillars, which is breathtaking.
Rainbow Coastal Road is a unique road located 10 minutes away by car from the airport. Locals had been voicing their opinions on adding colors to the protective walls installed along the coastal road to prevent cars from veering off the road and as a result, the walls came to wear rainbow colors. The road became famous among tourists and became known as the Dodu-dong Rainbow Coastal Road. It is fun to check out the various sculptures in the area including that of a haenyeo (female divers). Nearby Dodubong Peak is within a walking distance, and leads to the Olle Trail course, one of the hidden gems of Jeju Island. The slope is gradual, so it is not a difficult course.

Seongsan Ilchulbong UNESCO Heritage* is an archetypal tuff cone formed by hydrovolcanic eruptions upon a shallow seabed about 5 thousand years ago. Situated on the eastern seaboard of Jeju Island and said to resemble a gigantic ancient castle, this tuff cone is 182 meters high, has a preserved bowl-like crater and also displays diverse inner structures resulting from the sea cliff.
Seopjikoji Natural Place Seopjikoji is located at the end of the eastern shore of Jeju Island and boasts a fantastic scenery especially in April when yellow canola flowers are in full bloom. "Seopji" is the old name for the area, and "Koji" is Jeju dialect meaning a sudden bump on land. Seopjikoji can be replaced with Sangumburi in October and November.
Sangumburi Crater* differs from the 360 or more parasitic cones of Jeju in that it was not formed when the materials ejected from the eruption stacked. Instead, it is a maar-type parasitic cone that was formed as a crater with a hole in it when many materials were ejected. The inner area is 300,000㎡, while the interior bottom circumference is 756m, and the exterior circumference is 2,070m. Nearly vertical, the crater is approximately 130m tall, making it slightly larger and deeper than Hallasan Mountain.
Seongeup Folk Village This traditional village on Jeju Island has been preserved as it was in olden days with impressive piles of stones designed to protect roofs from the wind. The buildings have been designated important folk relics because these castles and homes that were built to prevent a Japanese invasion have remained intact the Joseon Dynasty. Folk Village is optional. You can select Jeju folk village museum.

O'sulloc Tea Museum located on Jeju Island opened in 2001 is Korea's first tea museum. In 2013, Osulloc Tea Stone was built next to the museum offering visitors with various tea experience and cultural activity programs.
Yongmeori Coast* is a volcanic beach made of ash emitted during violent explosions occurring when hot magna coming from underground met the cold seawater. Going down the narrow path to the beach, you can also see a sandstone cliff. Its name, Yongmeori (it literally means a dragon's head) comes from its resemblance to a dragon appearing ready to plunge deep into the sea. If the Yongmeori Coast is closed (during the bad weather), Songaksan Mountain will be another route. Songaksan Mountain is also called 99 Bong (99 Peaks) due to its 99 small peaks. The road from Sanbanggulsa Temple in Southern Jeju to Songaksan Mountain is a famous coastal drive with breathtaking scenic views. Though not as enormous as Hallasan Mountain, the view from the peak of Songaksan is truly scenic.
Sanbangsan Mountain *rising to a height of 395 meters is a typical dome-shaped, craterless volcano. Its name, Sanbang, originates from a natural stone cave formed in the middle of the mountain. Inside the cave, called Sanbanggulsa Temple, there is a statue of the Buddha. According to a legend, water drops from the cave ceiling are the tears of love shed by the goddess who protects Sanbangsan's stone walls (This tour is only available on the middle of March - the beginning of April).
Aewol Cafe Street Handam* Coastal Trail is a short walking path along the west coast of Jeju. It starts at Handam Village and ends at Gwakji Beach. It's a scenic route that takes you along the rocky coastline and provides great views out over the sea. It's long been a popular spot for walkers, but more recently, the coffee shops and restaurants that line the route have attracted the island's foodies.
