Enjoy the scenic outdoor landscapes and rugged extreme terrains of the American West. Explore some of the famous sights in the Death Valley area, such as Dante's View, Badwater Basin, Zabriskie Point, and Dante's Overlook. We will depart in the morning, picking you up from your Las Vegas hotel to start your adventure. Death Valley, one of the hottest places on Earth, includes a stop at the Devil's Gate. Then, head to the vast plains of sand dunes where you can hike across the sands once walked by Star Wars characters. Visit the Furnace Creek Visitor Center, which holds the record for the highest temperature ever recorded. Ask questions to the park rangers or purchase souvenirs. Finally, visit Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America (282 feet below sea level), followed by Zabriskie Point and Dante's Overlook. After a day of exploration, return to Las Vegas to relax, with drop-off at your hotel.
*Death Valley
Death Valley National Park, located in the desert valley of California, is known as Death Valley National Park in English. It lies along the state border between California and Nevada, with the Sierra Nevada to the east. The park spans a total area of 3,000 square kilometers, which is one and a half times larger than the state of Delaware in the U.S. Of this area, 550 square kilometers lie below sea level. Located on the California-Nevada border, the park is about 224 kilometers from Las Vegas. Death Valley National Park is the largest national park in the continental U.S. and is the hottest and lowest region in North America. It has received high ratings and attention on Google Reviews, with over 17,000 reviews by 2019 and an average score of 4.7/5. This rating is comparable to that of the popular Grand Teton National Park.
Badwater Basin: Badwater is one of Death Valley's iconic landscapes (approximately 30 minutes). It is the lowest point in North America, sitting 282 feet below sea level. As one of the most famous attractions in Death Valley, it is a must-visit spot. This area was once home to the ancient Manly Lake, an inland lake that gradually evaporated and dried up over thousands of years due to climate change and decreased rainfall. As the water evaporated, the salt concentration increased, forming crystals that eventually created the incredible white, honeycomb-like salt flats that you see today.
Zabriskie Point: Another iconic Death Valley landscape (approximately 30 minutes). Zabriskie Point is one of the most remarkable and spectacular spots in the park. Over thousands of years, the forces of nature have shaped the mountains here into unique folded terrain. In the early morning sunlight, the contrast between light and shadow creates a highly three-dimensional effect. The sunset yesterday was fiery red, while today's sunrise is golden yellow. The morning light transforms Death Valley into something entirely different. The layered mountains are mostly covered in a golden hue, and the once red cliffs reflect a stunning golden-red beauty.
Dante's View: A panoramic view of Death Valley (approximately 30 minutes). At over 6,000 feet above Badwater Basin, Dante's View offers an incredible vertical drop. If Zabriskie Point impresses you, Dante's View will leave you utterly amazed. Upon reaching the viewing platform, everyone gasps in awe. Dante's View doesn't just give you a sense of standing above everything else, it feels like you've reached the top of the world, with nothing but sky all around you. Below, almost directly beneath the cliff, you can see the irregular white semi-arc that is Badwater Basin, nearly 6,000 feet below the viewpoint. This dramatic vertical landscape is something you can only experience in Death Valley.
